Women’s health initiative. Shaping the future of research.

Giving women a voice in health research

At NWEH, we believe that everyone deserves to be heard, especially when it comes to health. That’s why we’re launching our Women’s Health Initiative, a national campaign to gather real stories, lived experience, and insights from women across the country. By sharing your voice, you can help shape research that truly understands the health experiences of women, for better care, representation, and outcomes.

Why this matters?

Women’s health is still not well represented in research. Many conditions, life stages and everyday experiences are overlooked, meaning the data used to guide care often doesn’t reflect women’s real needs.

The Women’s Health Initiative is our way of changing that. We’re gathering honest insights from women across the country to build a stronger evidence base and make research more inclusive.

What we’re aiming to change

Women, especially those from diverse backgrounds, are often under-represented in studies. This creates gaps in knowledge, leading to treatments and policies that don’t fully support women’s health.

We want to close those gaps. By capturing real experiences and real data, this initiative will help shape research that better reflects women’s lives and leads to more accurate, equitable outcomes.

We invite you to take part in our Women’s Health Initiative Survey. It only takes a few minutes, and your responses are anonymous and fully confidential.
